Mount Diablo is a part of the Diablo Range.
The mountain is home to many tarantulas that live underground, but come up during mating season (September and October) and can be seen on the trails.
Diablo means Devil in Spanish.

Kilimanjaro has 3 volcanic cones, Mawenzi, Shira, and Kibo. Mawenzi and Shira are extinct, but Kibo, the tallest peak, is dormant and could possibly erupt again.
It is the tallest summit in Africa.
10 people a year die on Kilimanjaro.

Aconcagua is the tallest mountain in the western hemisphere, and the second tallest mountain in the world.
It was sacred to the Incas, who built places of worship on it. Sacrifices were made there, and the remains of a child were found 5,000 feet up the mountain.
